The Yates Foundation currently serves unhoused neighbors and people in need by providing food, clothing, water, and personal-hygiene essentials. Our vision is to expand our community outreach to support children and families, including a future back-to-school backpack program. Through service and compassion, we are committed to bringing practical help, dignity, and hope to our community.

Our Story

Established in 2017 by founder Sheila Yates, The Yates Foundation was created in loving memory of her late father, Benny Yates. Inspired by his legacy, the foundation is committed to serving people in need and strengthening the community through compassion, dignity, and hope.

How We Help

The Yates Foundation provides food, water, clothing, and personal-hygiene essentials to unhoused neighbors and others experiencing hardship. As we grow, our goal is to expand our outreach to support more children and families, including launching a future back-to-school backpack program.
